As we read, we are learning how to ask questions to make sure we understand what we are reading.     We are really focusing on rhyming right now. Please work with your child to see how well they rhyme. You could give two words and have them tell you if they rhyme or not or you can say a word and they have to think of one that rhymes with it. We are also working on the concepts of more and less.  In our journals we are working on using letter sounds to write our words.    Please encourage your child to listen for at least the beginning and ending sounds in words as they write.
